In the heart of the town of Milazzo, nestled between the enchanting Aeolian Islands and the Sicilian coast, an unparalleled gastronomic experience is born: a floating restaurant aboard an authentic Turkish caique, permanently moored in the evocative “Marina Santa Maria Maggiore” along the Marina Garibaldi of Milazzo.

Here, where the scent of the sea blends with the flavors of Mediterranean cuisine, every meal becomes an unforgettable experience.

Amid the scent of wood, the song of the sea, and the gaze toward the stars, an enchanted atmosphere is born.

Our Caique

A majestic wooden vessel, finely restored, offers an intimate and elegant environment—perfect for romantic dinners, private events, or simply to enjoy an extraordinary evening.

Illuminated by soft lights and surrounded by the reflection of the waves, the restaurant bestows a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where time slows down. Every detail is designed to offer maximum comfort and charm: wooden tables, lounge background music, and the scent of the sea accompanying every dish.

From the deck, the view is pure wonder: the Milazzo waterfront opens before the eyes, while boats gently rock in the harbor, creating a relaxing and timeless atmosphere.

Our Gastronomic Offering

It is born from passion for Sicilian and Mediterranean cuisine, with particular attention to the freshness of raw materials and seasonality.

Every day we select the best local catch, vegetables from local farmers, cheeses and cured meats typical of the Messina area, to create genuine, creative, and always surprising dishes.

On the Menu

  • Let the experience begin with a taste of the sea — golden fried fish, tender sweet-and-sour cod bites, and anchovies gently marinated in fragrant Sicilian lemon.
  • Our first courses celebrate tradition while embracing creativity: handmade pasta reimagined in our Sea Norma, or the timeless harmony of Sicilian pasta with sardines.
  • Then come the main courses, where the essence of the Mediterranean truly unfolds — cod fillet wrapped in a shrimp crust, fish baked al cartoccio with lemon, or the daily grilled catch, paired with fresh vegetables from local gardens.
  • To end on a sweet note, indulge in our artisan desserts — the deconstructed cannolo, the airy sospiro, and the Bronte pistachio semifreddo — each a small homage to the island’s irresistible sweetness.

A curated selection of Sicilian wines and craft beers completes the journey, inviting you to linger just a little longer by the sea.

Easy to reach, impossible to forget

The restaurant is located aboard the caique Kaptan Yilmaz II moored at Marina Santa Maria Maggiore in Milazzo. The boat is easily reachable on foot from the city center or by car, with convenient street parking.

The venue is open for lunch and dinner by reservation only, to ensure the freshness and quality of every product.
